I took my driving lessons with Scott himself, and I have to say he was a very good driving instructor. he was calm and collected and gave me freedom on the road once he realised my skill. I passed my test first time, this was all mainly down to Scott because of the way he taught me.i.e confidence and consistancy.

I passed my driving test yesterday 10th December with 5 minors and I still can't believe it! I had previously been with two other driving schools which didn't help me at all, in fact they probably made me worse so Scott my instructor definately had a challenge on his hands! Scott helped me with my nerves when it came to learning to drive and showed me that I could do it. He taught me everything I need to know about being a safe driver and if I didn't understand something we would keep practicing it until I was 100% happy and confident about it. When i started learning to drive nearly a year ago, i wanted a driving instructor that was not only approachable but also make driving fun. Scotties did that.

I have had many driving instructors in the past around the Basildon/Benfleet area and have never really clicked with one until I met Dave! I found that other instructors may have been too short or did not explain things clear enough. Hense why I had over 150 driving lesson and 5 instructors!! Oh my god.. i've finally done it. i passed my driving test today with Scotties Driving School. i would like to say a huge thank you to Scott himself who taught me. Passing my test, it is the best feeling in the world ever, and i wouldn't have done it without the help of Scott. i was previously with another driving school who i didn't benefit from. I see Scotties Driving School and gave them a phone call and soon as i spoken to Scott his attitude to driving gave me my answer that Scotties Driving School was the one to go with.. and boy am i glad i did. The good thing learning with Scott was the fact that he would tell you the truth if you done something wrong he would get you to pull to one side and explain the error. he gave me so much confidence in my driving. Scott's attitude to driving was very professional and helpful. Where do I start!... I passed my test on the 27/07/2009 with help and belief from my fantastic instructor Dave! I am 24 and had been learning to drive on and off since I was 17. Having been with previous instructors prior to finding Scotties Driving School I can safely say it is the best driving school around. I started lessons with Scott in September 2008 and feeling slightly disheartened thinking passing a test was out of reach, it was refreshing to find an instructor who treated each pupil as an individual - with Scott 's belief and perseverance my confidence built up, and my driving skills improved. So I thank Scott very much for his help and knowledge in the months that he taught me. Due to my decision to take the Tilbury test route I transferred over to have lessons with Dave in April 2009. Dave gave me the last little push I needed to truly believe I could pass my test. With Dave's encouragement, calming influence and explanations that I found very easy to understand - whether it be explaining how to do a reverse round the corner or step by step driving it all seem to click! To me Dave is a driving instructor legend!! I can't thank Scott or Dave enough for all the help they gave me. I highly recommend them. After 7 years of lessons which topped 200 hours and 6 driving schools later i was still not ready for a test! I had all but given up on being able to drive!! But against my better judgement i decided to give it one last go, so back in august 2008 i started searching online for an intensive driving course, I called quite a few and found Scotties more helpful than others. After a quick chat with Scott we decided on a course that would suit me best. It worked and i PASSED!!! So I would like to thank Dave my instructor who has been fantastic and patient instructor. I did a 30 Hour Semi-Intensive course, and from lesson one I felt really comfortable and focussed on learning and driving. Every lesson was very very well taught and Scott explained everything clearly and very logically. When I made mistakes, Scott would point out exactly why I made them and then tell me how to prevent myself from doing the same again by doing things logically. Also, if I had to cancel a lesson and move it, Scott was very flexible and could always shuffle things around to help me out. On my test day, I was very nervous, and Scott managed to calm me right down and really got me focussed.
